Fan encounter with Tom in Cologne, Germany
First of all: Thanks for all your nice words so far. And sorry that it took so long to write down the whole story about us meeting Tom, but after the encounter we had to travel back home and when we arrived at home it already was pretty late.
We did not meet him at his hotel in Cologne. We really don't know where he is staying and we don't want to know. We won't spread any information about hotels etc. We will tell you tho, where we met him, as it's already public where they are filming 'Only Lovers Left Alive'.
We met yesterday with about 15 other fans in front of the MMC studios in Cologne where they're filming at about 3:45pm. We met some really nice other fans and had a lot of fun while we were waiting for Tom. During the wait we already got the information that Tom was indeed filming yesterday but they also said that we would have to wait quite a while longer.
About 4 hours later Tom's driver came around to tell us, that he knows that we are waiting for Tom and that he needed about 30 more minutes and that he then would come out to us to take pics and to sign autographs. Keep that in mind: He easily had the chance to just stay in the car and pass by. But even before he was ready to leave the studios he said to his driver to tell us, that he would come out to chat with us and take pics and sign things. Nobody forced him to come to us. It really was his own decision :)
He really came out about 30 minutes later. The driver stopped the car right in front of us, so that there wasn't a lot of space between the car and a little flank of a hill with pricky shrubs. If it seems as we crowded him, we really didn't. It just wasn't possible to stand more far away from him. But nobody hassled him. We made sure that he still had enough free space.
Before he arrived we already decided that everybody wanted to firstly took pictures and get autographs afterwards. When Tom arrived he was very nice and happy. He smiled during the whole encounter and was a little overwhelmed by all the fan support he got. He also looked a little tired, but keep in mind that we met him after a long shooting day. Because everybody respects him, we speedily took pics and got autographs. One by one got their pic and autographs. Tom asked every single one for their names and shook everybody's hand (as far as we could see) before he posed for pictures. We did not want to hold him longer than necessary. Nobody freaked out, it was a really relaxed encounter and Tom had fun as well. He answered some questions fans asked him. We asked him if he already had the chance to visit some places in Cologne and he answered that he went to the cathedral and ran along the river Rhine. He said that Cologne is a beautiful city.
Alex (a very nice fan) asked him if he enjoyed The Dark Knight Rises and he said that he did and that the film is amazing. He didn't really answer the question how long he would stay in Cologne but said that soon he would start to film Thor 2 in London.
After about 20 minutes he had to leave. We quickly gave him a little present. He kindly thanked us and said goodbye. Someone gave him chocolate and when he was sitting in the car he ate it and opened the window to talk a little bit longer to us. Here is a short video of the situation:

It has been an amazing day and a great experience. Tom is truly one of the nicest actors we ever met. Very down to earth and he really cares for his fans. He made sure every single one of us got to take a picture with him and an autograph and although they firstly only wanted to stay for about 10 minutes he said goodbye after everyone was happy with pics and signings. A great guy with so much love for his fans.

Oooh, ich wünschte, ich wäre in Köln. Leider wohne ich viel zu weit weg. Das muss wirklich toll gewesen sein! Ich bin so neidisch auf euch alle. Es ist so toll, dass er sich für alle Zeit genommen hat, um Fotos zu machen und Autogramme zu geben! Awwwh <3
